A program promoting an active lifestyle for school children. A school based activity.

Letter to the school

Dear Sir/ Madam

We invite your school to participate in CFA’s ‘football for life’ program.
FFLP is a school program based at getting children actively involved in soccer frequently. We wish to offer your school the opportunity to allow children to learn and play social football during, before or after school. Sport is a necessary requirement in every day life, socially and health wise.
These programs are run for 1 hour to 1 hour and half.  We will supply all the necessary equipment and coaches required.  We aim at having classes of a minimum number.

Included in the program will be practical sessions on fitness/ health and nutrition, with the aim at educating children on the importance of a healthy well balanced lifestyle
We will provide fresh cut oranges and water for all the children during the session.
This program will benefit children on many levels; our sporting ideology consists of the following principles and guidelines.

Family - Positive re-enforcement remember it’s just a game and an avenue for kids to express themselves and have fun. Love your children

Education – Prioritize school it’s more important than sport – however sport should always be included in shaping a child’s life. There needs to be balance in a Childs life, a mix of work and fun.

Health – Health in body and health in mind, encourage your children to eat properly, take care of their psychological well being make sure that you don’t have your own agenda. Winning is not important. Participation is.

Community – Community network as a means for growth, a way for children to make a connection, use it to instill values, morals, humility, acceptance, tolerance and friendship. We as humans live in groups we need to learn to get along football can teach the correct social skills necessary to live without serious social issues.
With these principles in mind we aim to teach and value the importance of the above, by way of fun games that incorporate footballs rules. No pressure no discrimination based on child’s ability everyone is equal regardless of shape size or color.

Yours in football

The game signifies brotherhood and tolerance. Football is a game open to everyone regardless of shape gender or cultural background.

The game provides children with the guidance. How this message is passed on is the key to its success. The laws of the game and the objectives help the children to understand discipline and team work.  This team dynamic gives children a connection, a feeling of belonging. Playing football gives children an chance to have fun, to invent, create and explore the beauty of the game.
